The Cradle and The Grave

Both ends of the Criminal Justice System

The 2012 conference of Quakers in Criminal Justice will take place at the Ammerdown Centre, Radstock, Somerset, from 24 to 26 February 2012.

The conference will focus on the effects of imprisonment, in particular for children and the elderly.  Speakers and workshop leaders will include Oliver Robertson of Quaker Council for European Affairs, Francesca Cooney of the Prison Reform Trust and others on support for prisoners' families and the issue of detainees and deportation.

The cost of the full residential weekend is £150.  Booking forms have already been sent to individual and corporate members of QICJ.  Non-members interested in attending should use the form on the Membership page to enquire whether places are available.
