Quakers in Criminal Justice Conference 2012
The Cradle and the Grave – Both Ends of the Criminal Justice System
The 2012 conference of Quakers in Criminal Justice took place at the Ammerdown Centre, Radstock, Somerset, from 24 to 26 February 2012.
The conference looked at the effects of imprisonment, in particular for children and the elderly. Speakers and workshop leaders included Oliver Robertson of Quaker Council for European Affairs, Francesca Cooney of the Prison Reform Trust and others on support for prisoners' families and the issue of detainees and deportation.
